Tonight I'm going to have either hot chocolate or an abuelita. I'm hardcore like that.

Coca Cola from a plastic bottle. I don't like it from a can anymore.

One last night in SF. Headed out and about, not sure what I'll be drinking just yet.

Got a Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA which is my reasonably priced beer of choice these days. $13 for a 12-pack and 7.2% alcohol.

I discovered it while living in Orange, CA. Out here, I can only find it at one grocery store near my parents' house. So when I visit, I like to stock up...haha.

I'd never heard of Abuelita, is it powder form or hard chocolate? I get the Ibarra brand and grate some on top of my coffee sometimes. Love the flavor of that Mexican cinnamon and chocolate - it's a totally different taste than our regular ground cinnamon.

I'm on my third wind. Knob Creek. Neat. Gotta go to a spring football game at 2PM tomorrow (Roll Tide) and then a softball game at 4:30PM (Roll Tide). Gonna be a long day.

Sadly, I'm missing both spring game and the first-ever Michigan-Ohio lacrosse game.

The kind I have is just powder. I like it when I'm not in the mood for coffee, tea, or hot chocolate.

I'll have to add that to the grocery list, powder would be much less messy than the solid wedges.

I buy Abuelita in its hard chocolate form at Sams Club here in the USA. It's $4.39 for 12 round bars. I use about 1/2 bar to make one large cup of hot chocolate (with milk) because I'm sugar conscious, but you could use one bar per cup and make it super decadent. The combo of chocolate and cinammon is delish. I grew up in Puerto Rico and there are two similar hot chocolate products - Chocolate Menier and Chocolate Cortes - that are easily found there. Menier/Cortes is a darker chocolate and the bars are rectangular (not wedges), but similar idea. I prefer Menier/Cortes to Abuelita, but can only get it when I go there in person. MMMM, now it's the middle of the afternoon and I am craving a cup of hot chocolate.

Does Bard's taste like regular beer? I saw that at the store beside my usual Redbridge but I'm afraid to try anything else since I've tried some pretty bad gluten free beers. Redbridge at least actually tastes like real beer but not GOOD beer (if there is such a thing LOL) so I'm open to trying something else.

I like it a lot more than Redbridge. I think it tastes closer to a 'real' beer. You should try it!

I got a new coffee flavor for my Keurig--Sugar Bush Maple. It's not very good. Doesn't even have a maple smell. Now I'm stuck with a box of 24. Should have just ordered a sample.

Just got back from Denver and ate at the Corner Bakery 3 times in 4 days

Barefoot Wines Moscato and Pinot Grigio were on sale this weekend so I picked up a bottle of each. The Moscato was really good on Saturday night while I hung out with my hubby-to-be and watched movies. Yay for on sale wine! And because we served it at our last belly dance festival Barefoot Wines always remind me of my troupe members. :)

Barefoot Wines is extremely affordable and that doesn't mean bad. I drink it all the time. The Sauvignon Blanc and Barefoot Bubbly have gotten very good reviews for wine under $10.
