    Please review AK plan

Please review/comment on my HS plan. Me, DS17, DD14 (all thrill riders), DW (no thrills). We don't do characters. We will have DAS but like to avoid using it as much as possible. We are end of August and mid day break is 100% not optional. Must leave parks before 1pm the latest. We have 2 days in the park. Day one is Thursday Aug 29th (the day GE opens - not sure on the AK impact), AK opens at 7:00am, plan to be there around 6:30am. Day two is late afternoon on Friday August 30th.

Thursday August 29th (7:00am opening) - hoping to get the following FP+
    FP+ Safari 9 - 10
FP+ Navi River (or FoP) 10-11
    FP+ Kali River - 12-1
    4th FP+ Everest 7-8

FoP (or Navi River) 6:45 - 7:25 (standby)
    Everest 2x standby 7:40 - 8:10
    PW standby 8:15 to 8:35
    Safari 9:00 to 9:40 (with FP+)
    Navi River (or FoP) 9:50 - 10:50 (with FP+)
    Get Pandora DAS for evening
    Lunch 11-11:30
    Nemo 12:00 to 12:35
    Kali River 12:45 to 1:15 (with FP+)
    Get 4th FP+ for Everest
    BREAK

    Leave CS 4pm
    Up! 5:00 - 5:20pm
    Yaki and Yeti ADR 5:30 - 7:00
    Everest 7:00 to 7:30 (with 4th FP+)
    Dino 7:40 to 8:15
Pandora attraction with DAS 8:30 to 9:00
    DONE

Day 2, Friday Aug 30th. Hoping to get the following FP+
    FP+ something in Pandora 6-7
FP+ River of light 8:30 show

    Leave CS at 3:45pm
    Lion King 5:00 - 5:30
    Dinner Flame Tree - 5:30 - 6:30
    FP+ Pandora 6:30- 7:30
FP+ River of Light 7:45 for the 8:30 show.
A cold and rainy day at WDW is still better than a day at work.

I get to AK at least 75 minutes prior to RD if I want to ride FoP standby at park open. IDK how Star Wars will impact the other parks. But I would still arrive much earlier than 30 min. before the park opens.

Understood, but this day the park opens at 7am, MK also opens at 7am, and is the opening day of GE. 75 minutes early is 5:45. Seems a bit extreme to me. Maybe 6:15 instead of 6:30?
It is gong to be hard enough to get the family there, I don't think we can do 5:45!

It will work fine. But you are crossing the parks a few times. If you did Safari right after Pandora first thing, then did Everest with FP+ and possibly single rider, you'd be going more in a circle. Your order is fine, just more walking.

    I switched to this
FoP (or Navi River) 6:45 - 7:25 (standby)
    Safari 7:40 - 8:15
2X Everest 8:30 to 9:15 (one with FP+) got 8:15 to 9:15, so we really have until 9:30 to use it. That should be plenty of cushion
    PW 9:25 to 9:50
Navi River (or FoP) 10:00 - 10:50 (with FP+) - NOTE, we have this FP+ now for 10:15 to 11:15, so there is also more cushion since we can't get on until 10:15

Thanks for the suggestion. I do think it works a little better. Plus, DW does not do Everest so she can take a leisurely walk from Safari to Everest and not get stuck walking through the crowds all still coming in near the ToL
