    Fort Wilderness Transportation

My mom and dad have a premium campsite reserved in Fort Wilderness, which should be near the marina. Getting to Magic Kingdom, they'll just take the boat. I know they'll have to take a bus to the other parks. But are there 2 buses? An internal bus, then one to the park? How long should it take to get to a park from their site? Thanks!

Yes, internal bus to main bus stop, then bus to the parks. I'd allow at least 45 minutes from door to door.

Hmmmm. They will have the pickup truck that they pull their camper with, but I've never driven to the parks myself. Is it fairly easy? Can they just map it on their phones for directions? How long should they allow to get to the parks if they drive? Thanks again!

Not sure how long it would take to get to the parks, but it's a quick drive to reception building/ main bus stop, and there's lots of parking if they wanted to skip the internal busses. It's always going to be faster & easier to take the boat to MK though.

You don’t need GPS to drive around the World. The roads are well-marked with signs to all destinations. Don’t sweat it and just drive forward; you’ll get to where you’re going if you follow the signs. You can practice from home with Google Maps if you must, to familiarize yourself with the lay of the land.
