What would you do: two reservations, or one?

    Hey there,

I'm fast approaching my eleven-month window, and am of two minds. DH, DS (22) and I will be staying first at BWV, using up every point we can, then we'll be moving to OKW. After a couple days, DH and DS are heading home, but I'm staying on, and friends are flying in to join me.

For both stays (with family, and with friends), we'll be in a 2-BR unit. So I could make one reservation for the six-night stay. Or I could make one two-night and one four-night reservation, so that I don't have to clean sheets and bathrooms, but then I will probably have to move. To complicate it a little, one of my friends will need an elevator (or I could request ground floor, but that's not my preference at OKW).

Any sage advice would be awesome.

I was just kidding about needing an elevator.

I'd do the two reservations to get the unit ready for the friends, but link the two so that you won't have to change rooms. In my experience, they're good about blocking off rooms when they know you don't want to move. If you'd like me to fill out the TP forms for you, I can; I've had great luck with TP getting almost exactly the location(s) I want, though if you're going at the end of December that part might be iffy. Let me know.

I don't even know what a TP form is, so maybe I do need your help, George! The trip is for early Jan -- I'll be in touch.

Touring Plans has a room request fax service, but it's behind their pay wall. If you're nice to me I can input your reservations and fill out the fax request.
