    Disney Car Care Center Shuttle

Has anyone used the shuttle from Poly on arrival day? Can you have Bell services call for you and how long did you have to wait? I'm trying to time our FP for MK. Right now I have 3 hours planned from airport -Magical Express-poly- car care center- MK.

It will be longer than 3 hrs from airport to park if you throw in the car care center. I'd plan at least 4 hrs and for my own sanity I'd probably give myself 5 hrs before scheduling anything really important. It's often 3 hrs from landing to getting to the park using ME and stopping at the hotel to check in without anything extra.

It's easier to call for the shuttle yourself than wait in line to ask a CM to call for you. My recollection from several years ago (so it might have changed) is that we could schedule a shuttle pick up time in advance, although that might be hard to predict on a travel day. Calling when you get to the hotel I would expect a 20 minute wait for the shuttle. What took the most time and is the most unpredictable is waiting at the rental car counter. Unless you have a direct-to-car Express pick up option they take a long time.

Very good points. I am worried about waiting at rental car counter as well. I usually take a super early flight and rent a car at airport. This time Im arriving at 11 a.m. and using ME. My first FP is at 2:30 to 3:30 at MK. I could miss it. Dining reservation isn't until 4:55 so I think I am in the safe zone for time there. Though I've heard people's flights have been cancelled lately due to storms. 😟😭 praying that doesnt happen on arrival day.

Advance pick up time for car shuttle is tricky. I did online check in but still need to stop at desk so not sure how long that could be as well.

What I meant to write is I did online check in for hotel. Not car rental

Is there a reason you are picking your car up at the car center instead of the airport. Usually the airport would be faster pick up time, no shuttles, no DME, etc. You could go straight to MK if you needed to. If your worried about time it might be something to consider.

We've only rented a car from the car care center once, years ago. We had no problem with pick up, went smooth, but drop off was a different matter, we waited forever at the counter.

I'd echo this recommendation. Generally there's no additional fee to rent at MCO and return at the Car Care Center. We've done that many times. You'd save a couple of hours at least on the pick up side of things (skipping Magical Express, driving straight to your resort or even straight to a theme park, no need to deal with shuttle to Car Care Center, etc.).

If you pick up at the CCC you won’t have to pay airport taxes. We do this in Nashville (pick-up at an offsite location, return to airport; Costcotravel rentals don’t incur drop-off fees), and (recent example) for a $400 airport pick-up rental, we’ll pay $178 if we pick-up offsite. The savings more than pays for the $8 Uber ride.

I’ve found similar deals at CCC/MCO when the care rental prices are higher than they should be.

Very good point. I guess price out both options and see what works best price and convenience-wise for your situation.

Wow. Thank you all so much. I wasnt aware of the price difference when picking up at the airport vs offsite. This was very helpful.
