    Is VOTLM an anytime attraction?

I was wondering if VOTLM is an anytime attraction or is there a specific time it should be done. Right now I have it planned for after lunch but I am wondering if we will be faced with big lines and a long wait to eventually get into a show at this time.

I'd say it's pretty much an anytime- it runs continuously and I can't say I have ever seen mega waits there but no idea how it would be during very high crowd season. I'd assume it fluctuates- busy mid morning? slower later afternoon?
There is a sign out front that will indicate next show time so you can sort of gauge when best to fit it- runs every 25 with a few breaks during the day.

(That said- one of my worst memories at Disney was waiting for VoTLM for well over an hour in the heat- no idea what sort of day it was- this was in 1993 and there was not much else at Studios then, DD was 4 and just HAD to see Ariel)

Thanks Christine. I guess we will have to play that one by ear or just skip it. We have seen it once back in 2005. Since it will be June and hot we would not want to have a wait that is too long.

Well it's a nice AC theater but other than that I don't think it's all that- at least not worth any sort of wait.

Would B&TB be a better choice. We have never seen it.

IMO- BaTB is much better. We never skip that.

BaTB is a full stage production with all live characters, singing and dancing.
VoTLM only has 2 live actors- and Eric only briefly- the rest are puppets (but nothing like the puppets in Nemo show).

Great thanks Christine. I think I will take VOTLM out and try to fit in B&TB.

My DD11's favourite character is Ariel (she even reminded me of this over the weekend as she watch both Little Mermaid Disney movies). She dislikes VotLM. She says it's boring. Of course she's not into shows much at all so that could be part of it. The only show she ever asks to see is FotLK at AK.

Bit of a correction: BATB does feature all live performers, but only Belle and Gaston actually sing; the rest of the cast lip-syncs.

The puppetry work at VOTLM is fun, but the filmed sequences are rather lame. Still, it's a cute show with AC and comfortable seats.

For us VOTLM is a must do because both my DD and I are Ariel fans :) It's a cute show. Nowhere near as good as FOTLK, but cute - which is what Disney does best.

We love VOTLM b/c it rains inside... that's what the boys remember most! It's a good break on a hot day for sure.

It's definitely an anytime show. Fit it in whenever you can and focus on the other attractions that have a much bigger difference in wait times throughout the day.
