Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort- we loved it (Rented points)

We are not DVC members and have stayed onsite at value resorts only in the past and more recently off-site in Townhouse. We had booked at CBR but got a great "last minute" special to rent DVC for Saratoga Springs. We were so glad we made the switch- it was really great! The resort is so peaceful and relaxing! We were in the Paddock section, not too far from the Paddock Grill and pool area but closer to walk to the Congress Park bus stop (which was just across a not very busy road from our room). We had great bus service and low crowds on the buses (even at park closing).

The resort is very pretty and relaxing, the boat ride to Disney Springs was also a real bonus!

Just wanted to share in case anyone else is considering renting points! It worked out great for us!

We stayed at SSR for a night in February and loved it too. We also were in the Paddock section right next to the pool and grill. Unfortunately it was too cold for swimming when we were there, but the pools looked great. My parents ate at the sit down restaurant for dinner and said it was really good and very quiet/relaxing. They are thinking about staying there this spring on a non-parks trip, just to enjoy the resort at Disney Springs. I would stay there again anytime, especially with a good deal on points.

We loved our stay there too. Staying at CBR due to budget restrictions but will be back to SSR next year.

Nice! My friends ended up there once, totally unexpected. Originally booked a Little Mermaid room at AoA. Got there, overbooked. So they put them in a Cars suite (their girls were not impressed). Then the A/C stopped working in that part of the building. So they moved them straight to a 1br at SSR. They LOVED it and said it was so relaxing. They said if/when they go back, they won't stay anywhere else.
