Predicted 4-Park Crowd Level: 3.
Sum of Predicted 4-Park Average Wait Times: 95 minutes.
Actual 4-Park Crowd Level: 1.
Sum of Actual 4-Park Average Wait Times: 82 minutes.
Weather: High of 82 and low of 61. Some rain very late on the 7th trickled into the very early morning of the 8th. Shouldn’t have affected attendance or wait times.

While it makes some logical sense that weekends would be much more crowded than weekdays, it’s still a little strange to see such low crowds on Wednesday compared to how things looked just a few days prior on Saturday. I mean, we’re talking about waiting more than twice as long on the Saturday. Anyway, we were expecting 15 minutes at Animal Kingdom and came away with 16, thanks almost entirely to the lengthy downtime at Everest from 9:15am through 11:15am pushing up afternoon waits. But this Park was beyond dead.

More than 90 minutes of downtime at Test Track and a short portion in the afternoon pushes wait times up at Test Track, but the Park is still a ghost town all day. If Test Track was running all day, this should prove to be one of the ten least crowded days of the year. “Most recommended” as we were expecting 22 minutes and got 18.

With 100% uptime and enough capacity, the Studios also sees what should be one of the lowest overall average waits of the year. 27 minutes at Toy Story may be the lowest of the year.

Magic Kingdom is typically “tentatively recommended” on Wednesdays with evening Extra Magic Hours as wait times are still typically lower or the same compared to other days during the week with the lower overall attendance. But the other Parks are typically that much better, resulting in a higher recommendation. Still, wait times are nearly nonexistent during the evening EMH even with the 8pm start. And the morning and afternoon are only slightly busier. We were otherwise expecting 25 minutes and got 26.
Question: Why are the Frozen Ever After and Gran Fiesta Tour rides not listed at Epcot?
Sorry if I missed this, but why in the Epcot waits is Frozen Ever After not listed?
I’d like to know this, as well as why no wait times for Gran Fiesta Tour?
I think I read that Gran Fiesta waits are so low that Josh doesn’t factor them in (like other “anytime” attractions) and that Frozen Ever After is not included in his calculations because it breaks down so frequently (yet sporadically) that it would throw off his numbers too much…but I might be remembering wrong.
Hello Josh,
Are you planning to continue creating the Crowd Calendars?
Thanks in advance
We were at Epcot and it was empty. We had a party of 5 and used our 3 FP and then I grabbed a 4th FP and rode Test Track, then I grabbed a 5th FP and rode Soarin. Then I grabbed a 6th FP and we rode Test Track again. Thanks for recommending Epcot on this day….we had a great time!
