Predicted 4-Park Crowd Level: 5.
Sum of Predicted 4-Park Average Wait Times: 116 minutes.
Actual 4-Park Crowd Level: 5.
Sum of Actual 4-Park Average Wait Times: 113 minutes.
Weather: High of 79 and low of 51. A warm, clear, sunny day.
Animal Kingdom was not recommenced with a predicted 23-minute overall average. The actual came in two minutes higher thanks to longer waits at Safaris with the capacity reduction in the evening and almost an hour of downtime at DINOSAUR first thing during the morning Extra Magic Hour. The 26-minute average wait at 10am is on the long side though waits do fall by 5pm.
On the other hand, Epcot was the most recommended Park and the 22-minute overall average is two minutes fewer than we were expecting. An hour of downtime at Test Track and about three hours in the evening affect that number, but there are enough other attractions at their default levels to pull the average down and Soarin’ comes in right around average as well. A good day overall, though the downtime at one of the headliners would be a bummer if it was your one day there.
Hollywood Studios came in under the prediction of 42 minutes and now that we’ve been at this for about a month, it might be time to make some modifications to the expected wait times at this particular Park. While attendance was within 2% of expected, the wait times don’t necessarily show the precision of the prediction. But this is an above average day at the Studios overall.
Magic Kingdom was not recommended with 28 minutes expected and 32 minutes realized. Nothing really sticks out there other than Space Mountain continues to pull the average up with unusually high afternoon wait times. It may be worth doing some investigating.
We should see a big drop in crowds and wait times on Tuesday.
