Pixar Pals Cavalcade to Replace Block Party Bash Parade at Disney’s Hollywood Studios January 16th

This is a bit of late, two-week-old news.  Block Party Bash, the daily 3:45pm parade at Hollywood Studios is expected to have its last performance on January 1st, 2011.  It will be replaced by a new parade beginning January 16th, tentatively titled “Pixar Pals Cavalcade.”  That leaves a two week block from January 2nd through January 15th where there may not be an afternoon parade scheduled.  The official Park hours on Disney’s website for all of 2011 do not list any specific information about parade times or titles.  The Disney World Travel Agent Hours continue to have the Block Party Bash scheduled throughout January, February, March, and April of 2011.  On the Crowd Calendars, I have kept the Block Party Bash listed at 3:45pm.  Note that his is likely to officially change to the Pixar Parade sometime in the future.  For now, I would bank on seeing the new Pixar Parade if your stay includes a date after January 16th, 2011.  If your stay includes January 2nd through January 15th, there may be no afternoon Parade at Hollywood Studios.
