We were supposed to get a big storm today. Weather.com went so far as to outline October 18th with a bold red border with the heading “severe.” What we got was a dinky rain storm. They keep pushing the arrival of the storm back. This morning it was supposed to hit around noon. Then it was 4pm. Then 7pm. Now it’s 2am. Last night, Disney announced that Typhoon Lagoon would be closed today due to the expected weather. So much for that. I’m a little disappointed as I thoroughly enjoy storms.
I updated the November crowd calendar with the operating schedule changes listed here. Luckily I’m a genius, so the recommendations didn’t need to be changed much. Hollywood Studios is now recommended on November 6th. That’s the big change I think. Feel free to post a comment if you have a question about making possible itinerary changes. They shouldn’t be necessary in most scenarios.
The December Crowd Calendar was also updated with the operating schedule changes listed here. Only the first three days of the month were changed and it didn’t affect the recommendations either. A much larger update should be coming on or around Friday November 18th. Pop Warner is scheduled to stay at the All-Star Resorts and Caribbean Beach Resort from December 3rd through the 10th. If you’re headed to one of those resorts during that timeframe, you may want to reconsider. The kids are loud, the resort quick service will be slammed during breakfast and dinner, and backups to buses are common when the kids visit the theme parks.
The May 2012 crowd calendar should follow shortly.
