Disney has added the following Fantasmic shows to November:
Thursday November 3: Hollywood Studios hours extended to 9am – 9pm. Second Fantasmic added at 9pm, in addition to 7pm Fantasmic.
Sunday November 6: Second Fantasmic added at 8pm, in addition to 6:30pm Fantasmic.
Thursday November 10: Second Fantasmic added at 8pm, in addition to 6:30pm Fantasmic.
Wednesday November 16: Second Fantasmic added at 8pm, in addition to 6:30pm Fantasmic.
These changes doesn’t impact the crowd calendar or recommendations much at all. If you were planning to visit the Studios on one of these dates, you’ll want to see the second Fantasmic if you can swing it. It’s “always” less crowded than the first, you don’t have to worry about the two large roped off sections for Dining Package users, and you can take advantage of the lower crowds and shorter waits during the first Fantasmic.
Hollywood Studios remains the “third most recommended Park” on November 3rd. It also makes the day before, where the Studios is the “most recommended Park,” that much better. November 6th isn’t a concern either. We’re still in between the morning Extra Magic Hour/Double Fantasmic at the Studios the day before and the even more popular evening Extra Magic Hours/Double Fantasmic on Monday. On November 10th, we still have Magic Kingdom attracting a lot of people with the morning Extra Magic Hour, longer hours of operation, rare Main Street Electrical Parade, and Wishes. If you look at the calendar, you’ll see that Magic Kingdom has Mickey’s Christmas Parties on the Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday surrounding that Thursday. Expect the Studios to be busier than any of those days, though we are looking at an above average overall crowd level with Joysey Week and Veterans Day. For November 16th, the Studios remains not recommended. We can assume Disney added the Fantasmic here because the next day is the only day of the month that Fantasmic isn’t offered.
The November Crowd Calendar will be updated shortly.
