Disney released the July 2016 Disney World operating schedule today. You can find it in its entirety here: http://media.disneywebcontent.com/StaticFiles/ParkHours/WDWTravelAgent_JULY.pdf. With the exception of July 4th week, when Magic Kingdom hosts evening Extra Magic Hours on July 3rd regardless of what day of the week it falls on, the entertainment/operating hours look to be identical to June and the recommendations should be very similar.
July is otherwise one very wet, very hot, very crowded month, though crowd feel and wait times are eased by the long operating hours and plentiful nighttime entertainment. Because the offerings are so similar from day to day, you don’t see the huge crowd swings from one day to the next that you see in the fall during Mickey’s Party season. In other words, recommended Parks will see similar attendance and average wait times as compared to non-recommended days, but you can be assured that recommended days offer an easier overall experience and the lowest crowds and shortest waits possible. That’s true from the beginning of June through the third week in August. Animal Kingdom hours are still extremely short. You would have to assume Rivers of Light will be online, which would necessitate a close of at least 8:30pm you would think.
The preliminary crowd calendar will follow.
Josh, you left the “h” in “http” out of the link.
Josh, my family and friends have a trip booked for August, 2016. Any idea when the park hours will be published?
