Disney has posted the July 2011 operating hours on its travel agents portal. The schedule can be viewed in PDF format here.
As it has been for the last year or so, the operating schedule is very conservative. This means that the operating hours listed are likely to be lengthened as we get closer to July, just as they have been for previous months. We can expect additional Fantasmic shows and Main Street Electrical Parades to be added as well as extended operating hours at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. We may see some 8am openings at Animal Kingdom over July 4th weekend too. There is also no mention of the 4th of July fireworks that will be certainly be taking place on the evenings of July 3rd and 4th at the Magic Kingdom. Overall, the calendar is very similar to June’s at the moment, both in terms of operating hours and the Extra Magic Hours schedule. We still don’t have evening Extra Magic Hours at Animal Kingdom scheduled on any date. Instead, morning Extra Magic Hour is scheduled on both Monday and Wednesday mornings. Evening Extra Magic Hours are scheduled at the Magic Kingdom on both Friday and Sunday nights just like in June, making Saturdays less attractive to Disney resort guests. As expected, there aren’t a lot of surprises at this time.
