As you probably already know, Epcot is split into two sections – Future World and World Showcase. Future World officially closes at 7pm, though many of its rides stay open until the World Showcase closes at 9pm. Soarin’, Test Track, Mission Space, Living with the Land, Innoventions, and other popular rides are all located in Future World. Despite Future World’s 7pm close, many of its rides actually stay open until 9pm, including Test Track, Mission Space, and Soarin’. Beginning October 3rd, Future World’s hours will be officially extended until 9pm. While this won’t really affect how Epcot operates, it will make it clear to all guests that they are welcome to ride Soarin’ and Test Track right up until Park closing.
Question: does this mean Innoventions, Ellen’s Energy Universe, Circle of Life, Living with the Land, et all will just close earlier than the rest of the park, like they do now? Or can we expect all of the attractions in FW to be open until 9?
All of Future World is expected to remain open until 9pm beginning October 3rd, including Innoventions, Ellen’s Energy Universe, Circle of Life and all the others. You can see the change here: http://www.disneytravelagents.com/StaticFiles/DTA-Domestic/pdf/ParkHours/WDW_Operating_Calendar_oct.pdf. It lists Future World closing at 7pm on October 1st and 2nd and then 9pm on October 3rd for the rest of the year.
Sweet! Thanks for the update! You site rocks.
Actually, it turns out that nothing is really changing at all.
Ellen’s Energy Adventure
Circle of Life
Captain EO
Journey into Imagination with Figment
Living with the Land
Innoventions
will be closing as usual at 7pm like they have been. Test Track, Mission Space, and Soarin’ will remain open until 9pm.
