Bad news on the Flynn Rider front. He will not be appearing at meet and greets with Rapunzel as was reported last week on the Disney Parks Blog. He will be appearing with her during the Celebrate A Dream Come True Parade beginning April 15th. Rapunzel will be moving to Tour Guide Gardens in between City Hall and the Chamber of Commerce just inside the main entrance on the left side. Disney Parks Blog refers to that area as “Town Square Courtyard” apparently. Ariel and Prince Eric will continue to greet guests in the same location as they are presently.
Still no official word on the Test Track refurbishment, which is supposed to begin on April 16th. Outside of that Orlando Sentinel article with the unnamed “Disney spokesperson” stating that the attraction would indeed go down for refurbishment on the 16th, we haven’t heard a peep from Disney since January. I can’t imagine they forgot!
Disney Parks Blog has concept art for the upcoming Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar in Epcot’s Italy Pavilion. Let’s hope they’re serious about that one. I would imagine we will be taking a very thorough tour when it opens in May.
As of April 4th, Disney has a new Photopass product called Photopass+. More information here. I saw the logo and immediately thought of Netflix. It includes on-ride photos and character dining photos where applicable. The provided link lists them and answers what might be common question.
