Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

May 15, 2010 ~ 1 minute read1 Comment

Opened: June 4, 1999.

Location:

Fantasyland on the end closest to Tomorrowland. Mad Tea Party is about 30 seconds away and the entrance to Mine Train is straight across.

Extra Magic Hours: Morning, Evening.

Ride Length: 3 minutes.

Type: Dark ride.

Similar To: Peter Pan’s Flight only traveling in a car instead of a pirate ship.

Requirements: None.

Scary Factor: Very low. It is at times dark and blustery, but there’s nothing here intended to be scary.

What to Expect: The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is similar to other Fantasyland dark rides like (the now defunct) Snow White’s Scary Adventures and Peter Pan’s Flight, only the theme is obviously based on Winnie the Pooh.

Riders board slow moving four-person “hunny pot” vehicles that move slowly through several scenes featuring Winnie, Eeyore, Piglet, Tigger, Owl and other characters from the series.

This is a lighthearted ride with some neat special effects, especially the scene with Tigger.

Where to Sit: Each car seats four to six people in two rows.

The view is a little better in the front, but most of the action is off to the sides.

FastPass+: Yes, moderate priority. Most people will want to book something with more limited availability in advance, but FP+ here in the afternoon can save you 25 to 40 minutes.

What You Miss Using FastPass+:

There is an interactive queue here with games and activities that most young kids enjoy, though it doesn’t offer much for anyone over the age of ten or so.

That means it’s not the worst place to spend 15 minutes in line as the kids can play while the parents wait.

Total Average Experience Time with FastPass+: 15 minutes.

4th FastPass+ Availability:

Expect to Wait:

When To Go: Before 10am, in the last two hours of operation, or with FastPass+.

Rating: 7/10

Commentary: It’s a fun little ride, particularly with kids, but it’s not worth waiting much longer than 15 minutes to experience.

Does this ride stay slow throughout the ride and is it mainly a straight course ride. Also there are no kinds of drops right because my kids are scared thank you!
