Bar: Tutto Gusto is the dedicated wine bar adjacent to Tutto Italia. With a menu featuring hundreds of Italian wines, rare Italian draft beer, cocktails, seasonal drinks, and a long list of pastas, cheeses, meats, olives, and desserts, it also offers the full Tutto Italia menu. Reservations are not accepted and there’s rarely a wait for one of the cozy tables next to the fireplace. This is perfect for those that aren’t sure where they want to stop and find themselves in the mood for a glass of wine and and a cheese plate. Full menu.
Setting: Featuring murals of ancient Rome amid shimmering chandeliers, Tutto Italia evokes Old World charm inside the stately dining room. Request a table on the patio when temperatures are cooler for a view of the daily entertainment.
- The best, most authentic Italian food on property.
- Service is attentive and charmingly Italian.
- Every meal includes bread with dipping oil and marinated olives and peppers.
- Inexpensive sandwiches and lower priced entrees at lunch
- Excellent value on the Dining Plan with five entrees $29 or more.
- Expensive at dinner.
- Tables are close together and it can get crowded and noisy inside.
Tips: If the restaurant is booked or you prefer a more casual meal, visit Gusto next door. Request a Gusto wine/drink menu if you choose to dine at Italia.
Value: Above average for lunch, average for dinner. The restaurant underwent another renovation in early 2012, opening up under the same name and similar setup in May 2012. The renovation brought a new menu with relatively inexpensive lunch entrees, in addition to a dinner menu that’s less expensive with better quality food. That’s virtually unheard of at Walt Disney World.
Reputation: Italia is a lovely setting with great, authentic food. The space is pleasant, but not terribly unique considering the rest of Epcot. The patio in particular is pleasant on warm afternoons and evenings, but most guests may prefer something a little more original. That said, Italia is highly regarded for what it offers.
