9/5/15 Update: Menu updated and items added.

Sunshine Tree Terrace Magic Kingdom

Location: Sunshine Tree Terrace is located in Adventureland across from Swiss Family Robinson. It switched locations with Aloha Isle in the spring of 2015.

Food Type: Citrus Swirl, Ice Cream, Slushes, Drinks.

Menu:

Menu Sunshine Tree Terrace Magic Kingdom

The home of the cult favorite Citrus Swirl.

Citrus Swirl Review Magic Kingdom Disney

The Citrus Swirl is one of the best, most unique frozen treats on property. It’s a mixture of vanilla soft serve and frozen orange juice. I prefer it to the Dole Whip over at Aloha Isle and lines are usually much shorter.

Pina Colada Slush Magic Kingdom Sunshine Tree Terrace

The Pina Colada Slush.

Sunshine Tree Terrace Review Pina Colada Slush

It could have used some rum, but otherwise tasted like pina colada mix – very good and probably nutritionally terrible. I enjoyed it more than the usual Disney frozen beverage. And there was no foam involved, which is always a nice bonus.

All Natural Lemonade Magic Kingdom

That’s the All-Natural Lemonade topped with Wildberry Foam on the right and an example of one of the entrees (Asian Barbecued Pork Sandwich) on the left.  The Lemonade was good.  It didn’t suffer from that “too sweet” or “artificial taste” you might get from Minute Maid or the like. I wasn’t crazy about the foam topping, but it didn’t really detract from the lemonade either and the foam is likely not available anymore anyway. The size of the cup is smaller than your typical fountain beverage, but considering the cost of other drinks at Walt Disney World, I felt like this one presented a decent value.
