Creature Comforts Starbucks Review at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Creature Comforts Starbucks Opened On: June 18, 2015.
See this page for all of the Disney’s Animal Kingdom quick service reviews.
Creature Comforts Starbucks is located on the left of Discovery Island right before you arrive at the bridge across to Africa. Pandora – The World of Avatar would be on the other side of the trees on the left.
It’s the largest of any of the Disney World theme park Starbucks location and serves the current menu of coffee, tea, artisan breakfast sandwiches, baked goods, etc.
The “You Are Here” Starbucks mugs are no longer exclusive to the location. That makes it a lot easier to collect them.
According to Disney, you have the unique opportunity to support Cotton-top Tamarins at Creature Comforts:
Order any size Flat White latte to salute the Disney Conservation Fund’s efforts to protect these endangered South American monkeys.
The slightly sweet espresso treat—blended with bold ristretto shots and steamed whole milk for a smooth, velvety flavor—was selected because of the creamy white dollop that tops the popular beverage, similar to the crest of white hair that extends from the animal’s forehead to the nape of its neck.
Founded in 1995, the Disney Conservation Fund supports the study of wildlife. It also promotes the protection of natural habitats and the development of educational as well as community conservation programs around the globe.
Their habitat is right across from the Starbucks.
Unlike the others Starbucks location, the trenta size is unavailable, but they do offer green paper straws.
Those visiting Starbucks on the Disney Dining Plan can choose any size of any drink for a snack credit. With various add-ins, you can push the cost of a drink up to eight or more dollars, making some of the drinks a good use of a credit.
I’ll update the full menu after the venue reopens. The pricing should be similar, or potentially even a little cheaper, than your typical Starbucks location. Here’s an example:
You can pull up Disney’s version of the latest menu here.
I had to google “Starbucks Trenta” and found a great illustration showing its size in relation to the human stomach 🙂 Great content as always Josh!
