9/12/15 Update: Menu and location updated.
The Allergy Kiosk is located on the walk to Africa from Discovery Island.
The color scheme of the kiosk recently changed to be more in line with the rest of Discovery Island.
Usually open from 9am – one hour before close daily, the purpose of the kiosk is to educate guests with allergies or aversions about their best options at Animal Kingdom. They have a large book of ingredients for just about every item served inside the theme park and they can check to see if it meets your needs. They also serve gluten-free and vegan options.
That’s the 6oz bag of rice chips for $6.69.
The Gluten free doughnuts and other items should be the same as most other resort outlets.
Most gluten-free beers are made from sorghum and have a light mouthfeel that’s more similar to a cider than a beer. Omission is brewed with malted barley and the gluten is removed using a proprietary method. You can read more about the process here. It’s by far the best gluten-free beer I’ve tasted.
Redbridge is a 4% ABV American amber ale brewed by Anheuser-Busch. Brewed with sorghum instead of wheat or barley, any serious beer drinker should pass over it for something a little more interesting, but it a smooth, almost cider-like beer for the truly gluten intolerant.
At 5.5% ABV, Angry Orchard is a straightforward sweet cider brought to you by the same guys behind Sam Adams. While purists will stick their noses up at it, it’s refreshing and like the others, gluten free. Magners Pear Cider is also available.
