“Walt Disney Presents” took over for “Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream” back in the middle of September.
If you ever visited One Man’s Dream, then you’ll recognize the majority of what’s on display at Walt Disney Presents.
Currently, Star-Lord meets along with Baby Groot in the back of the building. Moana met in the same location prior to their arrival. Wait times are typically under 20 minutes and when they’re longer, a pager system is available to call you back when it’s closer to your turn.
“One Man’s Dream” is also the name of the ~15 minute film that discusses Walt Disney’s childhood and the hardships that he overcame to create the Disney-Fox-Lucas-Pixar-Marvel empire that we all know and love today. That film is only shown about 25% of the time. More often, a preview for the next big Disney movie is shown instead.
The exhibit also offers the first glimpse of the full Toy Story Land model:
These are not good pictures, but they should help illustrate what to expect when Toy Story Land opens around May of 2018.
You’ll find just one piece of the Galaxy’s Edge model:
Check out more pictures of the full size model here.
We’re past due on some models for the Runaway Railway arriving.
Most of the other items have been here for a while:
The pictures above are from the back half of the exhibit.
You’ll typically find a couple of costumes and/or artwork pertaining to the movie preview that Disney is showing in the theater.
When there isn’t a preview, it’s typically paraphernalia from “Saving Mr. Banks:”
It’s worth taking 20 to 30 minutes to explore the various models and see some very neat original pieces. We’ll revisit the front half of the exhibit soon.
