As WDWNT first reported and the website can confirm, Disney is moving the start of the FastPass+ booking window to 7am eastern time from 12am/midnight eastern time. That’s going to be very early or very late on the west coast depending on how you want to look at it. The reason for the change is likely due to cast members being available to answer questions in the morning. At midnight you are on your own.

[…] FastPass+ Booking Window Moving to 7am from 12am – I think I like this move. I never was really a fan of having to be up at midnight to grab the best Fastpass+ selections. […]
noooooooooooooooooooooo…ooooo
…oooooooooooh
That’s excellent for us Brits 🙂
So, if I’ve worked this out right, that means 5am in the UK.
Booking FP+ while half asleep – what could go wrong?
Wait a minute – moving TO 7am – that means 12 midday in the UK.
Yaay
When is this starting? I am making ours next week. 🙂
When will this change occur?
Change is in effect today.
Thank you!
So what time in the UK do I need to book
Hello Vicki,
It is 1pm CET so I think it will be noon in the UK.
I think it will be 2am 🙁 the 12 noon booking was 7am for UK so 5 hours back from both leaves us with 2am
Ooops sorry I think I might be confusing the ADR times with the fastpasses, so now I am not so sure!

Great! That’s my time zone. Much prefer 7am instead of midnight! 🙂
It’s 12pm (noon) when you can *start* booking fastpasses in the UK.
Of course, you don’t have to book fastpasses at this time – that’s just the earliest time you can. It’s not like all the fastpasses will be gone by 1pm or anything.
crud. I’ll be on a plane at 7am at the time my booking window opens. SOB…
But thanks for the info.
But I’m okay with being on my own at midnight! Ughhh this sucks.
Ugh! I didn’t mind being on my own to book fast-passes at midnight. 7am EST is going to be harder because I often have to leave for work at that time in the morning. Will have to figure something out . . .
Yikes! That makes it 4am for me in Vancouver. 🙁
I love it! I’d much rather be up making the reservations at 6:00 instead of 11:00. I’m not a night owl. Plus, last time I tried making the reservations, we had an issue which made it so I couldn’t book until the next morning when I could get someone on the phone which, of course, meant no 7DMT for some of our trip. Love the change.
is this 7am fast pass for those who call their fast passes in or can you book earlier if you do your selections online? With dining you can book earlier online versus waiting for a cast member to be there…..
