Need help with putting in water park day
This year for the first time we are going to go to one of the water parks. My problem is trying to figure out which day.
We will be there 8/17 - 8/24. We are me (44), DH (45), DD (16) and DS (14). This will be our 6th trip in 7 years, so we really know how to tour each park (except for TL) so that shouldn't be a problem.
My DH's sister and brother-in-law are coming down on the 18th and his niece, nephew and nephew's GF are on the same flight as us. We are not planning on touring together (as they are coming down with friends of theirs), but hopefully do a few days together.
I have 2 plans (I personally like plan A better)
Plan A
Fri 8/17: arrive early afternoon, grab dinner at resort and head to MK for parade and hopefully a few rides
Sat 8/18: Epcot (top rated green park)
Sun 8/19: DHS (top rated green park), MK for EMH
Mon 8/20: TL, mini golf, DTD and maybe BW
Tue 8/21: AK (top rated green park), EP for dinner and EMH
Wed 8/22: MK (top rated green park), DHS for dinner and Fantasmic
Thu 8/23: go crazy day, hit 3 parks and do our favorites
Fri 8/24: leave for airport
Plan B (I came up with plan B because my SIL was planning on doing TL on Sun, we don't have to go with them just trying to make it happen)
Fri 8/17: arrive early afternoon, grab dinner at resort and head to MK for parade and hopefully a few rides
Sat 8/18: AK (3rd rated green park), EP for dinner and Illuminations
Sun 8/19: TL, mini golf, DTD and maybe BW
Mon 8/20: EP (top rated green park), MK for dinner and Wishes
Tue 8/21: DHS (3rd rated green park), EP for dinner and EMH
Wed 8/22: MK (top rated green park), DHS for dinner and Fantasmic
Thu 8/23: go crazy day, hit 3 parks and do our favorites
Fri 8/24: leave for airport
My biggest problem with going to TL on Sunday, is that we lose going to DHS when it is the top rated green park. Plus Epcot is broken across 3 days. I also like that the TL day is right in the middle of the trip in Plan A.
What do all you experts think?

We usually don't do the waterpark for a full day, our favorite thing is to hit a regular park in the morning, then head to the waterpark by noonish or later. If you do this on a Sunday or Monday then it shouldn't be massively crowded. Wait until the last 2 hours the park is open to hit the major slides and the lines are usually not bad to non-existent.

I agree with Pam. If you want to hit the park early, get there close to opening and hit the major rides first. It's the same logic as the theme parks...by 12, lines for the headliners start to stack up. Also, at opening, you know it won't be too crowded...if you wait, then you taking a chance that people are leaving. Most likely they are, but you never know.
Is there a reason for TL and not BB? If I had to choose, BB would win hands down for our familiy..we have DD-10, DS-4. TL waves were awesome though! They will sweep you off your feet...literally.
