1989 4-Day Worldpassport with 2 days left-What kind ofTrade in value do I have?

I have a 1989 4-Day Worldpassport with two days left. This is a ticket that was hand stamped at the gate. The 3rd and 4th days are unused. It does state on the ticket that "To be VALID, this Worldpasspost must be used by the SAME PERSON for ALL DAYS." The back of the ticket indicates that admission was for Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center. I am wondering what trade value the ticket will have.

I don't have an answer, but it you find out it's not worth much, be sure to check how much similar tickets have gone for on ebay!

I believe that you'll be given two 1 day MYW tickets that are not upgradable. So, value is really depending on what kind of tickets you need. If you'll have to purchase 6 day MYW tickets and use these for an addition 2 days then they're only worth the cost to upgrade from 6 to 8 days but if you only need 1 or two days then they're worth the price of 1 or 2 day MYW tickets.

The following is an explaination by Cheshire Figment on the DIS. He works in Guest Relations and knows everything there is to know about tickets.

Do you need to trade them in now? Just a few years ago, DS used the last day of his 1989 Worldpassport. He'd been a small child in 1989, but now a 6 foot 2 adult. There was no problem with him using his child's ticket, as long as he used the ticket in one of the 3 parks that were open in 1989 (DHS was MGM when it opened that year, but they didn't mind him using it there!)

I will be in the area the end of this week, and was thinking of going in one day with my DW and DD. If I receive two separate one day passes, it will work out having to only buy one other one day pass. If I get a two day pass, it would not be worth it to trade it in at this time as I only have one day to visit. I never attempted to trade it in before as previous trips were with the whole family (6 of us) or usually had length of stay passes.

I turned in my ticket Friday, July 27, 2012, at Guest Relations at Downtown Disney and received One, no expiration, 2 day park hopper (all parks).

We got basically the same result a few years back turning in a World Passport, also with two days left. It had our photo printed on it really poorly. It was from our honeymoon and boy did we look young. :D
    Thanks,
    Doc

Wow, that's great news you got a 2 day PH! But did you have to actually hand the passport in? It would have been nice if you could keep it (canceled of course,) as a souvenir.

I did get the ticket back to keep as a souvenir but it was stamped void or something similar.

Yeah, we got to keep ours too, since it was from our honeymoon. It took a couple of levels of upper management approval, but we ultimately got the OK.
    Thanks,
    Doc
