    MNSSHP Costumes

Wanted to share my costume for MNSSHP. We are going as pirates. DH is planning to go as Dread Pirate Roberts.

The only thing I bought was the skirt, $20 from Fossil. The shirt I already had. I bought it clearance at Old Navy last year for $3. Pirate hat is garage sale. Scarf was a gift. Gun is DS, I'm hoping to get my own for cheap. I want to tie a black or purple crown royal bag to the sash and fill it with gold and silver Mardi Gras doubloons. I could only find gold crown bags for the picture though. I know we have some black or purple ones around here somewhere. I will get black knee high socks to give it the high black boot look. I will wear sneakers at Disney though. I plan to add big hoop earrings and maybe some dangly bracelets??

Looks great! Our family loves to dress up for Halloween. Every year DH and I both dress up when we go trick or treating around our neighborhood. The neighbors all look forward to seeing what we will be dressing as for the day. We did a pirate theme a few years ago. It was fun!

Do you have pictures from when you did the pirate theme? I would love some more inspiration.

We love Halloween. We usually dress up too. One year me and my extended family all went as zombies. It was awesome!

I'm up front in the tshirt with a lot of purple.

Cute! I'm still working on our costumes. Unfortunately, I couldn't talk everyone into doing themed costumes. DH has all of his stuff, except some sort of wig. He's going to be Phineas. DD's costume is in the works; she's going to be Rapunzel. DS is going to be Lewis Robinson. I still can't decide.

Great pic! This is the first year we have done MNSSHP my DS and I are identical twins so she is going as Alice (from the new movie) and I am going as Um, my older DN is going as the Mad Hatter he bought the hat last time we were at the park as a family and we aren't sure on the younger DN yet he wanted to do Chesire Cat to keep in theme but we are having trouble finding a costume that he likes.

Chesire Cat might be hard to find one a boy likes. It's a big pink/purple cat, even though it's a male cat. What about the mouse? Or have everyone dress up like the people at the mad tea party?

We were leaning more towards the rabbit he knows the mouse is a girl . My DS and I have already bought our costumes or the mad tea party would be a great idea we could pic up some awesome stuff at goodwill.

    The catepillar would be cool.

I didn't know the mouse was a girl. I only watched pieces and parts of the Johnny Depp version.
