Since you're young without kids, you can certainly get a lot done. Especially if you choose commando touring, from early morning to late night, with no breaks.

....but... At DHS, you may need to skip some of the shows. Many run at overlapping times, so not so easy to hit all of them.

On the main easywdw.com site, you will find suggested touring plans. Start with those for a basic frame work, then decide if there are any attractions you want to add/remove. Then post preliminary plans here, and you'll get lots of help.

If you're unfamiliar with how ticket pricing works, you may want to check out: http://www.easywdw.com/category/tickets/baseticket/

The cost to add a fifth or sixth day isn't that much ($20 to $25 for the two of you per day). You may want to visit a theme park on your arrival/departure dates if you have time. You don't have to purchase those days now. They can do it for you at any ticket window.

Otherwise you have the right idea. It's going to be rough visiting a theme park for nine or more straight hours in September, when it's hot and humid. I know where everything is and I'm in decent enough shape and I'm usually pooped by 1pm or 2pm. Enjoying yourselves back at the resort isn't necessarily time wasted. But I understand that's a mistake everyone wants to make for themselves.

You're going to want to prioritize some shows and attractions that appeal highly to the two of you. There isn't enough time in a day to "do everything" or even "most of everything" at Epcot in one day and seeing all of the shows at Hollywood Studios is probably impossible too. I'd pick two or maybe three you want to do. With just two "young adults" you'll be able to whisk yourselves around with efficiency though.
Youth is wasted on the young.

Don't worry about doing "everything" because there's just no way to do it with only one day in each park! That said, like Josh mentioned, make a list of your "must dos" and then create a plan that ensures you'll get those in. Everything else will just be gravy.

I also agree with Josh, I definitely wouldn't take a break day, I'd plan on some sort of afternoon break every day instead, and add another day or two onto your park tickets (very cheap).

The thing is, your first 2 hours in the park right at opening will be the time that you get the most done, it will be cooler, and there will be significantly fewer people to deal with. Later in the day the crowds and the heat hit, and both will slow you down. More park days will allow you to have more Rope Drops and get you to more of those "must see" activities!

I totally understand being on a limited budget, we're the same for all our vacations. You can still add park days and come out ahead on costs if you find something else to cut from the budget, like eating in the parks. Bringing in your own snacks and drinks will save you at least $20 a day, and bringing your lunch can save another $20 minimum.

Just some options to think about.
