    BCV to HDDR and back

Whays the easiest way to do thi?

I'm thinking cab to ft. Wilderness, then internal bus to HDDR. Coming back, is there a bus directly from HDDR to BCV? (People on dis boards say there is.)

Bus from BC to Magic Kingdom, then boat to Ft. Wilderness. Either reverse @ the end of the show or take the resort buses if they are available after your show (I have seen them there even after the earliest show I think - in June a few years ago - because I was surprised @ that time because I didn't know they did that).

It's an amusement park, for goodness sake, how much planning could you need?

    Wahoo! Finally a trip planned!

Glad I wasn't the only one not in the know! The first time we went - in April 2009, we waited for a bus because of torrential rain. We waited and waited. Finally called a cab. Then, of course, the bus came.

When I recently read that there are busses directly to resorts after HDDR, I was doubtful, but sounds like they might have made an improvement!

But, bus to MK, then boat to ft. Wilderness sounds time consuming! No better options?

The options are limited. I would bus to MK, take the boat to Ft. Wilderness. and then take the bus back to the resort.

When talking resort to resort transportation, you'll always find that you have to go from resort to a park or DTD to the final resort unless you're talking about two resorts that happen to be within walking distance or on the same transportation line such as monorail resorts or crescent lake resorts. It's just how it is.

FW is one resort where driving isn't necessarily going to make things any easier because of having to park at the resort entrance and then take internal transportation to the other side of the resort. Don't forget that there's alcohol included with HDDR as well so if you plan to partake then you may not want to drive back after.

I've only been to the earliest show and we haven't had a bus available direct to our resort but that doesn't mean it never happens. I'd plan on it not being available and then consider myself lucky if it did happen. For the other two shows I've heard that there's almost always a bus but that each bus goes to several resort so it could be slow. Your sitting back with your family and not having to watch traffic or pay attention to what's going on around you so for me that would be fine but some people don't like sitting on busses that make lots of stops.

Bus home sounds great! It's the getting there that has me irked. I'll get over it. :)

We like the bus to MK and the boat to FW. Pioneer Hall is a very short walk from the boat dock. We have found the internal bus system to be a little slow at times at FW.

The 7:15 and 9:30 shows will provide direct bus transportation back to your resort. If you're doing the early show, you'd have to use regular Disney transportation to get back to your resort.

I think the bus to resort thing is only for certain shows -- so you'll want to confirm that.
