    Suggestions needed for stretching Crocs

I know that title sounds weird because we all know that the regular crocs are really wide and roomy, but they also make a lot of other styles. I just bought a pair of Patricia II Crocs. I tried them on in a local DSW and thought they were really comfortable. I always do well with crocs soles but the Adara style I had in the past has been discontinued so I figured I'd try these. It seems that they're inconsistent in their sizing because the ones I got online (they were cheaper online) are a bit tight. I need to stretch them a bit. Does anybody have any suggestions for how to stretch the Crocs materail? The straps are the same material as the regular crocs.

Not sure if it works but I have read to put in bag or close up in pillow case and put in dryer. When the crocs are pretty warm take out and put on and they will stretch to fit your foot. Like I said, I have not done this. Maybe google "stretch crocs' ?? good luck

No advice, but just adding that I have those shoes (also ordered online) and mine are too snug as well. If you find anything that works please report back! :)

I hadn't even considered the dryer then stretching them. That makes sense. I'll have to give that a try.

I've been wearing them every day since I got them. DD11 and I have just started taking daily walks together and I'm wearing them for our walks as well. They're definitely feeling tight. I'm not getting blisters from them but I'm wondering if I'm bruising my foot in some way since a couple spots when the straps hit the foot are tender but the skin doesn't look irritated.

Liz, I'll let you know if I get anything to work.

I used a hairdryer to stretch mine. Just heat and stretch where needed. Be careful though, it's easy to overstretch them. If that happens, put them in the dryer for a couple of minutes and they should shrink back down to size.

I meant to try the hair dryer last night but time got away with my (we always seem to have something in the dryer so I haven't gotten around to trying that yet). I plan to give it a shot tonight. Wish me luck!

I guess this is the first appropriate topic for the "It Doesn't Fit" thread!

Wow, I am so obtuse some days. I didn't get George's joke until I came back to read Pam's comment on it.

That's good to know just in case my next pair doesn't fit. I have a pair of those same sandals, and LOVE them. I've had them for 2+ years and they are still the most comfortable shoes I own. Come to think of it, I ordered them a size bigger than I usually wear so I guess that's why they fit ok.

In hindsight I wish I had ordered a size bigger. They're just barely an acceptable length. A bigger size would have been better. I'll try to remember that next time.
