After 3 straight years at YC CL we were unable to get the garden view room at YC CL (there are only 5) so i had to try BC CL this time. It was nice but IMHO YC CL is superior. I didn't like the room assignments for BC CL GV. In all fairness maybe standard view or lagoon view are bettre but I believe there are 6 BC CL GV rooms and AT LEAST 4 of the 6 connect to another room. You can hear the noise thru the door and our neighbors were not loud per say but I could hear them discussing breakfast, plans, etc. Of the 6 rooms at least 1 is handicapped (we had it initially and switched) which is annoying b/c vanity was in bathroom and the shower is a handhdld thing with zero water pressure. So the BC CL GV is a real room of the dice on room layout. Howeve rALL have a full balcony - that is a plus. View was lovely. Overlooked volleyball court with nice side view of lagoon.
Lounge was eh. YC again larger, better layout, and not near the conjestion that the BC lounge had. Luckily we were pretty close to the lounge otherwise this floor is HUGE and how all this people fit into CL is anyone's guess. To me, the BC CL floor felt way more vast than YC CL floor. Food was eh as well - but that would hace been true at YC CL this trip as wel since they share the same kitchen so to speak. I loved the staff at BC CL and found them very nice besides one strange odd fellow but that is ok the rest made up for it. I really do enjoy that quick breakfast in the morning. HUGE perk to me....
Next summer I will stay at YC CL but wouldn't hesitate to stay at BC in a regular room, no club. I enjoyed the staff, lobby, location, etc. I just think the 5th floor is oddly laid out.

I do seriously appreciate the invite. And it's hard to go wrong with "free" bottled beer.
