Classroom ideas

So every year our principal creates a new "theme" for our school year, and we are supposed to decorate our classrooms to fit the theme. I always try to make it fit WDW somehow. I mean if i have to be at work i may as well be surrounded by what i love best, right? So this year the theme is hawaiian luau. Our mascot is a tiger cub (we are elementary grades per-k through3rd ). We dont have to include the mascot. Please dont burn me for this, but Finding Nemo isnt my favorite, so I dont want to use him. Any ideas of how I can incorporate "the happiest place on Earth" with my theme?

You could do Mickey and friends or monsters inc characters having a luau?

Polynesian resort merchandise. They have characters dressed in Hawaiian clothes represented in various merchandise. Of course you'll have to take a trip in order to pick the stuff up.

Did I mention that I love villians? Maybe I should google disney villian luau clip art????Don't know how much I will fine.
Loving the ideas. Keep them coming please. I really need a catch phrase for my bulletin board. I was thinking "Life's a Beach", but IDK how appropriate it would be.

Well WDW and Hawaii are my two favorite things. I think you have to think about the Poly and the luau as your basis of theming. How about "Ride the wave for a great year". There is a lot of theming aloha wear at Party City stores.

Lilo and Stitch-"Surfs Up In ____ Grade!" Then you could surf boards with the kids names on them sticking up out of the sand.
or a waterfall - "Fallin' into ___ Grade!" You could make a waterfall with drops of water coming off with their names on it.
I will keep thinking... This is just what I am thinking off the top of my head.
