    Ssr

Which section would you choose and why? I've been reading a lot and would like to get some opinions from the folks here as well. Just booked a 2 bedroom villa online. Do I call with a requested location? There was no section online to request a specific location.
    TIA.

Yes, you need to call in room requests.

We've requested (and got) the Springs section both visits there. We really like being close to the food and community hall. It's also closest to High Rock Springs Pool, the spa, game room.
That area sometimes gets rapped because it's the last bus pickup (leaving the resort) but we don't use the buses very much, so that wasn't an issue to me.

For future visits, though, I may consider the section with the brand new pool - I think that's the Paddocks, but hopefully someone will confirm.

It's an amusement park, for goodness sake, how much planning could you need?

    Wahoo! Finally a trip planned!

We stayed at a 2BR in the Springs also and liked the locale but didn't like the bus situation. It's not bad, but after a long day at the park the ride seems to take forever! I don't know how you'd get to the main building from the other areas without a long walk or riding the bus...

Paddock with the new pool would be nice.

    From the map:

It looks like rooms 6501 - 6836 would be close to the walkway to Downtown Disney, the Congress Park bus stop, and the walkway to the main building?

I don't have a recommendation yet, but we'll be staying there for the first time in a couple of days. After much debating, I ended up requesting The Springs due to it's proximity to the community hall/food court/one of the main pools. We'll see if we actually get that section. I actually wouldn't mind the Paddock (new pool looks great, perhaps a little better on the bus stop order) or Congress Park (closer walk to Downtown Disney, possibly great view of DTD) either. We won't have a car, so we'll be relying on Disney transportation, so we'll see how that goes as well. I'll try & remember to report back to this thread to let you know how our experience turns out.

Will you have a car? Will you be utilizing the quick service location frequently, or dining in the villa more? I've stayed in the Grandstands, Congress Park and the Treehouses. Grandstands in the building with room # 8501-8836 was great - Grandstand pool was fun enough for the kids, and it was near the walkway to the main area of the resort.

Where would you stay if you had a deluxe studio? Are they pretty much everywhere? I've rented points and that's what I have so I'm pretty ignorant about the whole thing....

We love to be near the pool at the Grandstand. Great pool, not as crowded as the main one. Pretty close to everything at the Springs. And as far as the bus, there have been several times we saw the bus pulling away or asked when we arrived and learned that it had just left. So we headed over to the stop at the Springs and got on the bus there! I'd say rooms 8501-8836.
