thanks, I just signed up too! It sounds like it will maybe be like a Groupon/Living Social type thing?
Hoping for a new countdown ticker sometime soon....

Iiiiiiiiinteresting. I signed up! I wonder if the discounts will apply for a lot of in-park stuff? I've never been interested by anything on Groupon or LS, but it'd be really neat to have a site where each deal was something like "Save 50% off on the Keys to the Kingdom tour!"Thanks for the tip!

Are you guys sure this is a Disney site? There are a lot of non-Disney links at the bottom and typically there's disney.go.com (or sometimes something after the disney before the .go.com) in the url. Even the support email doesn't seem right. If it's not Disney then it's just a site that at best will report the same stuff posted on every Disney fan site.

Clicking on the Terms of Use pushes to the Disney regular site.
Reading the information when clicking on "interest based ads" at the bottom yields the usual online ad suspects, some of which are less than stellar as far as consumer rights and privacy:
http://preferences-mgr.truste.com/?t...ffiliateId=115
You can physically opt-out of specific advertisers, but only when they are sending targeted ads (you'll still receive their generic stuff)
"Advertisers may collect data about your online browsing activity and use it to show you targeted ads (a process known as "behavioral advertising").
You can prevent the companies listed below from showing you targeted ads by submitting opt-outs. Opting-out will only prevent targeted ads so you may continue to see generic (non-targeted ads) from these companies after you opt-out."
Thanks, Pam!

Got my first e-mail today. Here's the Disney Deal . . . Buy One, Get One Free! 2012 Mickey & Minnie Plush Toys
And then there are More Disney Deals, too.
What do you think?
I got it too, looks pretty good
Brandi
cool - thanks! I signed up.
I got a 30% off August & Sept stays offer today. I didn't click, but I've gotten worse offers for way more effort.

Ah, I didn't know those dates were available. Well, not that exciting then.
Lol sneaky Disney! That's like when they send pin emails out that aren't really pins!

I've been pretty disappointed in the deals on this so far. I was hoping it would be maybe a clearinghouse of unsold disney parks merchandise or at the very least deals exclusive the Disney Family Deals site. So far it has all been deals that have been offered elsewhere for a while now. Bummer.
