    Dining in AK

Where does everyone like to eat in AK? We have a late breaksfast scheduled at Tusker House, but need either another TS or CS meal there. Where do you eat when you visit this park?

We have eaten at both Restaurantasaurus and Flame Tree BBQ. Restaurantosaurus was ok... there is plenty of inside seating, which is always good. We all really enjoyed Flame Tree though!

TS - Yak & Yeti! We ate there for the first time on our November trip last year. Great food! And if you like an adult beverage with your meal I highly recommend Lost on Safari!

CS - Flame Tree BBQ - good ribs!

Heard lots of good things about Flame Tree BBQ, not so many about Pizzafari.

We always choose Pizzafari. It's easy to please everyone in my family with their menu choices and the dining room is comfortably air conditioned. We usually hit it between 11:00 and 11:30 and practically have the place to ourselves.

I have nothing bad to say about Flame Tree, we just like Pizzafari better.

I'm with Brandie, nothing bad about Flame Tree but we prefer Pizzafari. The only TS we've done there was dinner at Tusker House and that was nice but since you're going there for breakfast you probably don't want to go there again :)

Flame Tree is a favorite here and then follow the trails to go waaay back for seating. Seating back there is often overlooked and it is so peaceful and quiet.

Flame Tree BBQ definitely - loved the pulled pork sandwich and the seating area is very pretty.

We also had a late breakfast at TH during our trip last November. We really enjoyed it (similar to our favorite - CM - with some different food selection). The only drawback was that we were in a small back room with about eight tables that was pretty cramped. Characters came to visit just the same as the main area though. We were actually there right before the breakfast/lunch transition, so we "closed down" breakfast. The characters were still out, making them a little more accessible than during the main meal. Our DD2, who it typically timid around Goofy, was up towards the food area with Mom and Goofy ended up walking her back to the table. Quite a picture of 6-foot+ Goofy and a ~3-foot-tall 2-year old hand-in-hand...

We eat at Pizzafari. DH & I like the Italian sandwich and the kids get pizza. The adults like Flame Tree but my kids not so much. If you haven't already, take a look at the menus available on allears.net or wdwinfo.com (the latter are more recent) to see what the restaurants offer.
