Twinkle Lights

I read twinkle lights are coming back to the trees at MK hub..........anyone have a photo? I need some details about this, lights are my thing!!!!!!

These twinkle lights used to be in the big trees around the hub that were cut down and replaced with crate myrtle trees and the lights were gone. Surely some of you remember them and have a photo?????

Disney filed permits today to reinstall the Twinkle Light system in the Crape Myrtle trees in the central hub in front of the Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom in the Walt Disney World resort. This long-forgotten effect has been sorely missed since it removed when several of the larger trees were removed from the hub to allow better viewing of the castle itself during fireworks shows.
We weren’t able to find any good photographs or videos of the old trees at the Magic Kingdom for reference, so Epcot will have to do as a substitute. Here’s the same effect in the trees that line the bridge between Future World and World Showcase: Trust me the video was horrible!!!!!

I don't have any photos but I definitely remember them! That the was first place I remember seeing twinkle lights outside of Christmas. It will be nice to see them coming back.

oooooo twinkle lights. When we went for our only family trip back in 1987 my Dad always loved those lights. It would be great to see them again!
