MK Sunday June 10th/1 Day Plan/2 Rides Space/PLAZA FOR LUNCH but what time?

Hello experts - here is my MK plan - green day - I am really trying to fit in the PLAZA for lunch. See my outlined question of what time lunch would be. Would this plan work? As always, thanks for the awesome feedback!

I'd send the FPV for Space while the rest of you ride Pan, then everyone meet up at Pooh and continue on to Buzz.

How do you feel about riding Space twice at RD?
It's such a long long walk from BTMRR back over to Space I'd try to get rid of that trek somehow.

Thank you both! If I ditched the second ride on Space - would you alter your thoughts at all? I know hitting SM first thing is still like a 25 minute ordeal. Would you FPV that but again your original point of a long walk still stands.......Can I make use of the new fantasyland train stop somehow? I don't know the pickup points but do know if it took me to new FL I could walk to Tomorrowland...?

For Space only once I'd just FPV at RD for a 9:40 RT

The train stops in new FL- from there you can take the red path to Space but I don't really see how that makes things any easier or quicker.
You might take it from BTMRR around- walk thru to TL grab Buzz FP on way to Plaza- not going to be any faster than walking though!

HUGE help, as always, Christine! Final question - do you think on the way to the Plaza before lunch (11:30 or so) you suggested pulling a FP for Buzz then. IF I wanted a 2nd ride on SM, if I pulled a FP for space instead (around 11:30 or so) what would you guess the return time to b? I was thinking I could eat the plaza, finish up by 1 or so, head back to TL pull a buzz FP and then ride SM with earlir FP and people mover while Buzz matures on time....BUT if the Space return time at 11:30 is 5:00 or so this won't work obviousl...Any prediction on a return time? thanks a million. I really don't know what that RT would be- Josh might have some insight in to that.
Worst case- check it as you pass- pull it if it works!

If you are returning later for EMH- I have seen FP in use for EMH so if it is operating- pull a Space FP as soon as EMH starts and use that pm- rather than the JC FP- JC is usually walk on or close to in the evening.

Be aware that it can be a long wait after showing up for your ADR to actually get seated at the Plaza Restaurant, depending on the day and time. I had to wait 30 minutes last time, and I showed up within 5 minutes of the reservation after peak lunch hour on a green day. And if there's the Dance Party or parade going on around the time of your reservation (I can't remember if it's at 11:30 or 10:30 or what), it might get really congested around there, since the walkway isn't that broad and is the first path to get to Tomorrowland from Main Street, before everyone gets to the hub.

This might not be a problem, but it's probably worth considering when accounting for time. (I also thought the service was kind of slow, but my server was dealing with a difficult party next to me, and I think he was also trying to let me not feel rushed, since I was dining alone. It wasn't a negative experience at all, thus my reservation for lunch the next time I'm at the Magic Kingdom. The strawberry chicken salad is super good, especially on a hot day when you want something filling, but also cool and refreshing. I thought it was big enough to share, too, fwiw.)

I was going to say the same thing. I would choose the earliest time you can for your ADR and then try to work FP around that since the ADR wait there can be so long.
Because of that, I made my ADR for 7:30 just as we enter for pm EMH. I figured we wouldnt have to work around FP that way We can start with dinner, make it out in time to grab a Buzz FP and see wishes, ride Buzz then head over to Frontierland for the 2nd parade (here's hoping there is one!) and then we are in prime position for Mason's dozen rides on Splash for EMH

Do you have Lines from touringplans? I have been keeping track of return times just so I have a ballpark~unfortunately Mason wont ride Space so I havent looked at that one at all.

I'm sort of surpised- I guess I've never really heard reports that Plaza is slow.
I've been there numerous times and honestly cannot recall ever having a wait- or slow service!
We pick it because it's a quick easy TS meal.

And I was surprised by the 30 minute wait! If I'm remembering correctly, my reservation was at 2:30pm or so - after the lunch rush, but with plenty of time before dinner, and I was called in just as they started to clear the street for the parade at 3ish. I hung out by the wait times board and chatted with the CM who was getting radio calls to update it, which was an interesting conversation, but not actually about wait times.

I do think the slow service was primarily due to the difficult table next to me (he came back at one point with complimentary passes to something-or-other that's normally incredibly difficult to get last minute, I remember wondering what on earth had happened to justify that), and the fact that I was eating alone, and sometimes if you're alone, you get rushed along to open up the table for a larger group, so he was doing the opposite.

Anyway, it was the longest I'd waited all week for an ADR at a popular restaurant, so it stuck out to me.
