DH and I want to run the Wine and Dine Half in 2013. In 2012, it looks like it will be November 8, but in past years, it has been early October. Just wondering how to plan? How far in advance are the dates released? Is it likely that the date will continue to be in November or will it move back to October? Thanks for any help!!
I think the dates for next year's race are announced as early as the middle of January. This year, there's a Tower of Terror race in place of the Wine/Dine Half Marathon over the first week of the Food/Wine Festival, as you're probably aware. I'm not sure whether that will continue next year. My guess is that both races will be successful and it will be the same next year, but it's hard to say.

I guess we will make a reservation at our home resort when our window opens for the same dates as the 2012 race, hoping the races stay the same (and I never know what to predict about these things, so I'm glad you have an idea!). But a January announcement will give us enough time to adjust if it's different. Thanks so much!
