    Where is Alamo at MCO?

A friend of mine told me that you have to gather your bags and take a shuttle for most car rental companies at MCO. Is that the case for Alamo? Just want to prepare myself and husband since we are traveling with 3 kids and all of their junk and we will be getting in around their bed time.

I can only assume that trip #3 will be Jan 2015 (you guessed it, 5th birthday)

No they are on property. I know on places like Priceline you can put in "on airport" as one of your criteria and see which are which - it might be on the MCO website too. Most of the biggies are at the airport now, including Hertz, Alamo, National for sure - I think Thrifty and Budget as well (but not sure on those). I believe it's mostly the "off-brand" (LOL) discounters that are not on airport property and require a shuttle.

It's an amusement park, for goodness sake, how much planning could you need?

    Wahoo! Finally a trip planned!

Actually, most of the car rental companies at MCO are in-airport (both A and B side), including Alamo. Just go downstairs to the ground transportation level and Alamo will be quite visible. You could go right to the counter or use the kiosk (my preference) after which you go out the door, and walk across the street to the garage where you pick any car in your class that is available. PUll up to the gate, they'll give your paperwork the once over and you'll be on your way.

Hertz used to be off-site but not for a few years now.
