Are you able to click the "Go Advanced" button? If so, maybe it would allow you to use that text box?

Which "Style" are you using in the lower left hand corner of the page? There should be a dropdown menu that says "Default Style." Depending on what it says, you might try Default Style or Mobile 2.

Awesome! Mobile2 worked like a charm.

I was in default style. The kindle simply did not recognize the message box as being text input. No kindle keyboard would pop up no matter what. I tried go adbanced, quoting, smilies, and lots of stuff but I never knew about the style. Thanks, Josh, and others!
