    ME, flight arriving at 8:05pm

I am sure this has been discussed before, but our flight arrives 8:05pm. Was starting to think about what to do since I have heard that it could take up to 3 hours for them to deliver the bags to our room. I forget how long it took last time, but we arrived mid day so it didn't matter that much.

Would they show up at 11:00 pm to deliver the bags? Can I tell them that it's ok to do so. Looking to get an early start the next morning so I wouldn't want to be waiting around for the bags to arrive in the AM so we can get dressed for the day. Or could I tell them it's Ok to deliver the bags at 6:00 am.

I've read suggestions to bring enough clothes in the carry-on to cover sleep and the next morning. Traveling with Wife, Sone (2) and Daughter (3). Don't want to have to lug around a bunch of stuff in carryon's.

Personally, I'd just not use the yellow DME tags, pick up my luggage at the carousel and bring my bags on DME at that hour. I'd like to know that my bags are in my room at a decent hour (barring airline issue of course) and that I wouldn't be woken up or not have my bags in time for RD (not sure which they'd do; I think either is possible).

I know you don't want to, but you should do this whether you use ME or not. What happens if the airline mid-directs your bags? I once had a bag that arrived in Stockholm two days after I did, so I had to buy a few things to get by. (And, let me tell you, the Swedes are a svelte people---finding things that fit was not easy!)

At the very least "cross-pack" your bags, so each person has some things in at least two different bags. That way, missing any one of them doesn't mean that little suzy has no clothing.

As for the original question: in my opinion, luggage delivery is the one great thing about ME. I've only used it twice, but really enjoyed that part of the service. However, I was not super-fond of the other bits (waiting around, multiple stops, etc.) If I were going to get my own bags anyway, I'd bite the bullet and book a car service to the resort.
