We are staying in a Nemo Suite the last week of Aug. The trip will be a surprise to our kids (7,5, & 1). Their heads will most likely explode when they see this resort.

are you going to test out the pastrami burger for us?
If it's anything like Chiodo's Mystery Sandwich, it's bound to be good.

Cool! I love the paint brush pen. Does anyone else think it looks odd that Ariel's tail is missing on the one shirt?

I think that it looks like Ariel got caught in a fishing net or some kind of propeller. It's not like her tail's wrapping around the side of the shirt. Her tail is just chopped off.

I also like the paint brush pen. I think it'll actually feel kind of weird in the hand since I tend to hold my pens near the tip but I'll likely still end up buying a couple. I'm glad to see the resort specific merchandise.

I agree about the Ariel shirt, weird graphic choice there.

I wish the Mickey Pin wasn't such a limited edition. If I'm reading that right there will only be 500 available, oh well, The Nemo one is nice too and we will be staying in the Nemo wing.

Josh, are you planning on visiting this resort in the near future for photos? I'd have a few requests and am willing to buy a drink in September as payment...

On the 31st, yes. Not sure what I could see before it opens? But feel free to list any requests and I'll do my best.

I hate to say it, but those are some ugly rooms. Looks like an explosion in a crayon factory.

Thanks for posting the link Jill, I like quite a few things about it, but I have to agree with OMG, a few things in the suite are just too over-the top colorful for my tastes (and I love bright and colorful!), that dining table especially. I can't imagine sitting down to breakfast there without wearing sunglasses to cut the glare.

Did the kitchenette area have any more countertop surface nearby? I figure the Inovabed/dining table can be used as extra countertop space, but only if someone's not using it as a bed.

Jill, Did it seem really far from where the LM area will be to the main hall and buses?

We were kind of contained in one small area, so it was hard to tell how far. But based on the resort layout maps, it is the farthest area from Animation Hall.

no, there wasn't any additional counterspace.

There wasn't a toaster in the suite we toured.

We'll be there in September in the Lion King area. Not many pictures of that section yet (I know, not open yet). I know the pool is fenced - is it gated too? Mainly the entrance on the playground side.

Jill - thanks for the link. I'll head to FB when I'm done at work...

Nevermind Josh. I found my answers on Jill's FB pictures. But take tons anyways when you go - just go light on the HDR - Pixar colors in High Def will be a killer on the eyes...
