4/2 AK (#2 recommended park. Spring break but not Easter week. Party consists of two teens aka "the boys", a 6 and 3 yo aka "the babies" and two adults who will alternate between being with the two different age groups.)

Too much? It's our only day at AK. I've "*"ed the priorities.
We'd like to hit EE twice because it's the one ride where the party has to split that both Mom and Dad don't want to miss.
We've NEVER seen the parade.
TH pre-park is a tradition (and it prevents our tour from stopping for every single character we see.)
I'd like to hit FoW earlier because I am willing to leave if we start to get crabby and FoW is a bigger priority than the parade.

What time is your breakfast?

Pre Park opening ADR is for 8:00. That's the actual time, but I treat any pre park opening ADR as if it is on the hour before the park opens.

We like to do FoW in the am- it's outdoors- no AC
Get your Safari FP much sooner.

This way you can be done on Asia side just past lunch time- do Africa/CMM after lunch

Thanks, Christine! You fit in CMM for us, too! (Took me a while, but I figured out that one and suggested you add it to the "what language are you speaking" thread.)
But, will I have time for CMM? Shouldn't I be in line for the 2:30 FoTLK at 2:00?

Brandie- Another option is since you had a big bkft can you push lunch a bit later and see 11:30 FoW, 1:30 FoTLK
Boneyard doesn't open til 10 so if kids want that stick it in at 10

Right now I've got the babies playing in Dinoland (essentially just TS) for an hour (they won't ride EE or Dino) and then in the Boneyard until 10:20ish? Would it change anything if we skipped Dino? (Those who are tall enough rode Indiana Jones in Disneyland at least 10 times on our last visit in November. I doubt anyone would care if we passed on Dino.)

I guess if you skip Dino you could get that EE swap ride done while little ones play? The FP return should be 9:40.
I just try to get everything done on one side of the park then move on to other side so you don't have to trek back and forth too much.

Kali- always iffy on whether FP is operating so you may just have to do that standby in am- get there by 10:30 and should be OK

I appreciate everyone's input because, although I'm pretty good at remembering things (like where something is or little tips and tricks for getting something done) I CAN NOT calculate/predict timeframes like some of the experts here!

Does Kali open with the park? Could babies and I ride Kali while teens ride EE?

(For some reason, I recall Kali opening later. But, maybe I'm recalling my experience from an EMH morning.)

About 4 PM will do it!!!! You'll see the end of the parade go by and will then be able to jump into a nice spot as people leave. And the bonus: you will have less then 10 minutes to wait for the parade to return!!!!

We've seen it. It's okay. If my family chooses it over FotLK I'll re-work my plans. I don't usually plan for it unless we're with someone who's never seen it.

It's my own small way of protesting the removal of Tarzan Rocks.
