didn't see any rules concerning this - was it ok to discuss/form groups for a photopass share like the groups on facebook? Was looking for a late Sept 2011 group.

There is a September group set-up and they may be discussing it there. Go to community/groups from the blue bar at the top of the page and you can join the September group.
