I have always thought this looks so pretty from the outside, but I have never eaten here. I am thinking of making an 8:00 reservation for the breakfast buffet. I think walking down an empty Main Street would be pretty awesome. Is the buffet any good? I can hardly believe I am thinking of paying $100.00 for breakfast:RpS_blink:If it isn't anything great I won't do it. Thanks for the input!

Uh- Oh! I am thinking no reply may mean... not very good. I think I will spend my $100.00 elsewhere.

We did it once. It was decent, typcial breakfast buffett. The characters were cute, except Piglet skipped our table, so we missed him lol otherwise it was fine.
It's an above average Disney breakfast buffet with a nice bonus of potentially being able to enter the Park when few people are around. It's not going to change your life, but it's certainly one of the better buffets. One of the possible downsides is that Winnie the Pooh characters are relatively easy to find outside the restaurant. If you're staring at your watch and racing through breakfast to get outside by 8:55am then it may not be worth the somewhat hefty cost. If you're willing to relax, enjoy yourself, and have a good time without worrying about time constraints then it would probably be a more enjoyable experience. Just my opinion though - I'm not a big buffet person.

LOL, I just posted in the Dining Thread Question for this week that I was doing exactly what the OP stated for our June Trip and that we had never done it before so I hoped breakfast at CP was good. Although we have done lunch there we have never done breakfast.
Thanks Josh for your input. I was honestly doing it more for the ability to enter the Park when few people are around. My kids are 14 and 17 so although they don't mind the character interaction they do it mostly for dear old mom :RpS_wink: who still loves to take pictures. We will enjoy our breakfast and don't want to rush through it but not necessarily interested in seeing each character. Yes the price tag is somewhat hefty, but thought we would try this approach at least once to see how we like it.
OP not sure when you are planning on going, we will be at CP on June 20th, I will post after we get back to say how we liked it.

I must admit I love the idea of an empty MAin STreet too! We are up early, so it is not a hassel for us to be out and going early. You can always send an FPV for FPs when opening if you are running behind at CP. The other tip many have offerred is to ask for your check upon ordering so you can leave when you are ready - no waiting for your server.

Love CP. 8am Adr is our favorite. We are always done by 8:45, and never feel rushed. But-- we don't care if we see all the characters (though we always do). My point is that the characters and watching for them does not add stress to our morning.
We love breakfast buffets in general.

My DH and DS love to do this even when we are at home. They hate to wait for the check and want to get out as soon as they are done. Drives me a bit nuts sometimes, but must admit works great in this situation.

It was one of our favorites but it IS pricey (but not any more expensive than any other character meal)....it is typical breakfast food but it was one that DH said he would go back for.
We are actually doing lunch this time.
I do agree though if you are watching the clock to make sure you get out before opening I wouldn't do it. I know last time we went, we didn't get out until after the park had been opened a bit (OK..so we were a tad bit late getting to our ADR in the first place). I know we came out and we saw the ending of the first castle show (I can't remember what it was). We were near the stroller parking and stayed to watch that before we ventured on.

We have ate lunch here twice and enjoyed it. Typical buffet food. I thought it was very pretty inside. Both times we did an early ADR (11:30) and were ones of the first ones seated so beat the longer buffet lines.
My kids think they are too old for the 100 Acre Woods gang now so probably won't be doing it much anymore. However I would still like to do the breakfast once just to get into the park early.

Just keep a heads up on the park hours if you do choose to do an 8am. This past March lots of people were caught off guard when WDW changed MK opening to 8am for almost every day the entire month. If WDW does that, then the whole "see the park empty" idea goes out the window. We had a 10:20 ADR -- last breakfast seating -- and it was perfect. We had a great 2 hours of touring with limited crowds/waits and a fistful of FP by the time we had breakfast.
