From a long time ago, on a discussion board far, far, behind the times.......I read about "Dee" who made Disney Neck Coolers. I Googled Disney Neck Coolers, came up with her website, but she's not taking orders on the site. She says she still makes and sells neck coolers, but to family and friends. She then adds the notation that her family and friends can give out her email, so others can buy the neck coolers. Anybody here a friend or family member of Dee's who could get me her email address? I like the prints and colors she uses for her Disney coolers, as compared to another seller I Googled, who has limited prints.
Here's hoping SOMEONE knows Dee! :RpS_biggrin:
Thanks,
Karen

If you haven't used these neck coolers before, you may be disappointed in their performance at WDW. They work exceptionally well in hot and dry climates, but aren't very effective in humid situations. We use them a ton when we're hiking in the Southwest, but the minute humidity gets upwards of 80% and there's no breeze, they feel like warm wet sausages around our necks.

Well, at least they don't smell like warm wet sausages!

LOL Pam! Thanks for the info. I'd just like something other than the mister fans we have! :)

What about these? http://www.froggtoggs.com/#cooling/
Tom Bricker posted about them on DisneyTouristBlog and they have great reviews on Amazon. We're going to WDW for 2 weeks at the end of August, and I bought a couple of them to try then.

These are the ones that we have

I've purchased cheaper versions at Walmart (hubby didn't like the color options for Kafkas), but they don't work as well.

we love these. i live in south louisiana where the humidity is 90-100% mose days, and they work like a charm!

I think I'll get one of those frogtoggs bandannas, sounds like they work better than the crystal-filled versions for humid conditions!
