Can anyone tell me if the Monster's Inc Laugh Floor is the same show every time? On our trip we only were able to see the show once, so I have no idea if the jokes/set ups are the same for each one.

My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to be seated in the right place to be picked on during the show. Right at the beginning, we were shown on screen with an arrow pointing to me saying that I like to kiss monsters. Later in the show they talked about a dance party and put on music and put the camera on my boyfriend. Luckily he isn't shy and got up and danced. They put the camera on him two more times during the show. It was hysterical!!

A few hours later in the park, we stopped from our touring plan so I could use the restroom. When I walked outside, my boyfriend was talking to a family. The husband and wife were debating whether or not my boyfriend was a "plant" in the show to make it more fun and exciting (sort of like Indiana Jones and the 'random audience members' are actually CMs). They were so shocked to find out that he was a guest just like them.

There are some components that are identical every show, some components that are similar every show but there's definitely a lot of room for changing things up in the parts that are similar. Everything Mike and Roz say is identical every show. The rest changes. There are only a couple variations to the overall concept of each part but you never know what's going to happen with the audience interaction. Audience members are definitely not plants as you saw so they really have to be able to roll with the punches and ad-lib to whatever the audience members say. The two headed monster (they go by a couple different names depending on if it's two males or a male and female) have two different basic storylines but again, audience interaction can vary. Buddy (or I think now there's a British cousin of his on occasion) does a couple different possible acts but again, audience interaction can vary. Marty has a couple jokes that are standard and always talks to a kid in the audience though obviously the interaction is going to vary wildly with different kids' reactions but the conversations are generally using fixed set of questions to the kids and he does tell jokes that have been texted in by people who are at the show.

My kids have been on-screen a few times (we go at least 3 or 4 times per trip; it's my 11yo's favourite attraction). Their favourite was Marty asking the riddle "What has 4 eyes and 8 ears? These guys" flashing to my kids wearing their mouse ears. When he asked about the second set of ears and they said that I bought them, you should have seen Marty's face; hillarious!! My DH was on one time when Mac & Jeeves (2 headed monster) were telling the Monster's Inc story; he was Mike, with one eye. Mac & Jeeves were really impressed that he figured out how to be a one eyed monster so quickly. My kids really want DH to be "that guy" but unfortunately, due to DD14's special needs, we have to enter with the wheelchair users so we'll never be able to sit in the area where they always choose "that guy" from so I just don't see it happening.

Hillarious show!!!

We had a great time with that show. I was on screen with my two older ones for something at the beginning but can't remember what it said. My youngest was "Boo" and my MIL had to talk to them to and made some funny noise that got lots of applause. It was so fun.

It's definitely worth seeing multiple times. They change up enough things that it's always interesting and fun.

Another person here who likes to go multiple times. You just never know what new laugh will come up. The audience participation thing just makes it so much fun!!!

Every Time I gave gone......dead silence. I skip that ride now, too mad because its one of my favorite movies.....What did that ride replace?

Jungle Cruise is my ultimate "must go multiple times" attraction. I've probably been on it 30-50 times, and I hear new one-liners EVERY time.

It used to be one of those 360 film things. Timekeeper or something like that?

Ah yes ..I remember the Timekeeper.
Now we can all say that about Snow Whites ride. Worst thing WDW has done is ages.

Really? I've had at least a good crowd every time. The best crowd, though, was easily on Leap Night. People were into it.

On balance, and when all is said and done? I completely disagree. Snow was a classic, but the Mine Train looks like it should be a significant upgrade, and there isn't much need to have two attractions devoted to the same film franchise right next to one another. What's more until its closure was announced, it hardly ever drew anything approaching the lines the other Fantasyland dark rides generate. The ridership numbers do seem to have gone up, but I suspect that's mostly the "last chance" crowd.

Full confession: I'm also one of those people who thought World of Motion should have been called World of Boredom, so my Disneyana street cred sucks.

We don't always do it - but we do love Monsters - I think it's always a lot of silly fun. Only once it fell a bit flat and it seemed that the majority of people they picked from the audience didn't speak English!

Another vote for. It's a unique interactive audience show, and though sometimes it's Disney-corny, I can't help but enjoy it. Nice break to sit down as well.

We enjoy it, and agree it changes with guest interaction so it stays fresh. We also love Turtle Talk because it is so different every time!

This was the case with us last year too. Our DS8 was picked to ask a question. He asked Crush how old he was and Crush answered, then the next kid he talked to asked the same question. Crush went into this "Whoa, I'm in the Twilight Zone thing." It was awesome, DS still talks about that. We love Laugh Floor too, but Crush was awesome.

We love the laugh floor and have never been disappointed! The last time we saw it, my MIL and FIL were on-screen and it was hilarious. My kids were in awe because it happened so fast; the spotlight on us, the CM with the microphone crouching next to us... I'm surprised Disney hasn't found a way to sell a DVD of your snippet (for the audience members who speak).

Tricia-I wanted to mention that for Indiana Jones only 1 person is a cast member(stunt performer)...because I was chosen- I loved participating and put a new spin on a show that I have seen 10+ times. Made the show fly by.

What an amazing experience to be chosen for that! I had seen Indiana Jones before but did not remember there was a "plant" and so during the beginning of the show I kept thinking "how offensive that they're making fun of someone that doesn't speak english!!"

We were sitting next to a family whose father was chosen to participate. It was so much fun watching the reactions on the kid's faces when their dad was up there doing goofy things, it really gave the show a different dimension - probably not as different and exciting as Terri's experience though!

We love Laugh Floor, for some reason no matter where we sit, DH gets picked on. He was "that guy" in Feb. My kids enjoy researching new jokes to submit before we go.

I've never been "that guy", but I have been the subject of one of the two-headed thing's jokes. the joke had some slightly racy inuendo to it, and when I appeared on camera I kinda gave it an up and down of the eyebrows thing. The two-headed thing really reacted strongly to that, dropping the jaw, etc. It was very funny!
