Is there seating at the bar at Tutto Gusto? Being one who likes to belly up to the bar for a drink and a nosh when traveling solo, I'd love to know I have this option here, since it looks like it has an attractive list of food and drink.Rose & Crown, Hollywood Brown Derby, and Chefs de France all have full bars, but no bar stools!

Did you look @ Josh's pictures? I thought there was a photo of people sitting at a bar area, but I might be mis-remembering. There were tables, definitely.

I did, but I couldn't tell if there were bar stools. I think the focus was more on the wall behind the bar. I'll have to chance again. But later, because his blog posts load so slowly on my iPad because of all the photos.

I checked Josh's post, along with a few others, and I didn't see any bar stools in the pics. The bar front isn't very long, so no room for stools. The only place they could be is along the left or right sides, which are sort of hidden in all the pictures I've seen.
No stools, there isn't enough room.

But, if they've laid this place out like they have others, the tables will be so close together that you'll easily "make friends" with those around you, whether you want to or not...
(And, yes, I'm looking at you, La Cava, though truth be told I kind of like it that way for lounges.)

The same is true of Rose & Crown, though there's plenty of room in front of the bar to put bar stools at the bar. Guess they don't want singles loitering around. :RpS_razz:
Yeah, the tables are close together at Gusto too for the most part. There are some off to the sides that are less so. You should be able to point to a table that you want if it's vacant. The space is probably too small, but we'll chalk it up to being "very intimate." Only not that intimate since the tables are so close together. So I guess too small might be more accurate.
San Angel is probably my least favorite seating configuration at the moment. The tables are "literally" a couple inches apart and they seat everyone in the same sections even if the restaurant is 20% full.
