AK one day plan

OK.....first let me say that I have some of the trails in there in places where we might not have enough time to see them.....that is okay.....we will just skip them. We are staying at AKV so will be seeing lots of animals so okay if we miss them at AK. Also......if we need to......we will go to ITTBAB after FOW. We will see what time it is. Also.....we are not 100% sure on if we want to see the parade or not. If we don't....we will go to Pangani....if we do....we will skip Pangani.

It sounds right to me, if my Feb Break experience is accurate, you will be able to ride EE in first 5 minutes, it takes more time to walk the queue than to load the ride. You could easily ride a second time before the queue develops.

A pot'l kink, you are getting the KRR FP around 10, which could potentially have a next FP opening round 12, but you plan on getting the Safari FP at about 11. I think it will depend on the temperature. When we were there it didn't warm up till noon. Then KRR got busy. If it's in the hi 70s by 10 people will think about it earlier.

Otherwise i didn't see any timing issues.

It is TS. As I was looking at it.....probably not done until about 1 PM so only about 30 minutes before we have to be in line for Nemo. So....probably not time for MJT.......I have it there in case we are ok or we can easily skip it. Plus......Nemo was one that every put as a would like to do but not a Must Do so we can skip that too.

Thanks Trueblue. We actually did something similar to this in June and it was fine (quite hot!!!!!). Actually......we did EE, Dinosaur, KRR and KS all by noon so I personally doubt they will be an hour out. At any rate.....I'm very aware that times can be different and all of my FPV are tentative based on when the next window opens. Thanks for the advice though!!!!

You could flip MJT/Discovery Island trails- do whichever is priority before Lunch.
After lunch- only enough time time for EE w/FP if you keep Nemo...

If you decide to skip Nemo- then I'd move FoTLK to 2:30 show- after that parade if you want, Safari, Kali last or you could do that right after lunch and be done on Asia side

Yeah.......I know!!!!! Since we are staying right next door at AKV.......I've thought of taking a break in the afternoon and returning and just staying until park close instead......do you think that would be better??? If we can skip Nemo.....it would be easier to take that break. Maybe I need to just do that this trip. We will be hitting quite a few of the shows at HS so I'm not sure that we really need Nemo here. I love the show but everyone except Samma (who has never been outside of Utah or Idaho!!!) and Macey (first WDW trip for her) has seen it before. I love the show but I think that I'm talking myself out of adding it. They will all survive if we miss it.

So....if we take Nemo out......how does this sound:

Go through Kali right after lunch (probably grab an extra FP for either EE or Kali before we leave),
Break from 1:30-4:30 PM
FOTLK 4:45 Show
Safari with FP
Any trails we want to do
EE with FP
Extra FP (either Kali or EE....whatever we got)
Enjoy park until closing at 7 PM


Does that sound better???? Actually....with the break.....we might want to do the Safari earlier. DMIL will want to do the Safari but I'm not sure if she will return back to the park after the break or not.....hmmmmm.......but I don't see where to fit it in before the break so maybe she will just have to choose if she wants to do it bad enough to return with us or not.

I like the break in there. But I'd return more like 4:15 for that 4:45 FoTLK. That will let out out 5:15 so you are on Safari by 5:30- gotta walk there!
Allow 20-30 min for Safari and it's now 6.
Probably no time for a trail now if you have 2 FP sets to use.

Now if you need to get Safari done before break- get the Safari FP 2nd, Kali 3rd. Will MiL care if she skips Kali?

Looks good. Thanks Christine. I don't know if DMIL will do KRR or not. She was pretty unsure about it last night when talking to her but Kaylie (one of my nieces) is pushing her to try it. We'll play that one by ear!!!!
