Pop Century - New RFID Mugs?

We buy new mugs every year, then chuck 'em in a corner and use our old mugs which have a more stable base (I keep our receipt in my wallet in case anyone asks about them).

I'd heard that they were starting to use some sort of coded (maybe RFID?) system on the new mugs at one of the All-Stars. If they're doing it at Pop Century, I'll leave our old mugs at home since using them would be way more hassle than its worth.

So, has anyone stayed at Pop recently, and if so, are the mugs and the machines coded?

It was (or is?) a test at the All-Stars and I have not heard anything about it being rolled out anywhere else at this time.

No, they are only good at the resort you're staying at for the duration of your stay.
