Need info about changing resorts

I am considering renting points for a stay at AKV. There is one renter who has enough for me for 6 nights but I want 7 BUT DS8 wants to stay at Pop anyway so I was thinking I could stay at Pop on night one, hang out at the resort, then move to AKV in the morning. Will Bell services move our stuff? It would just be luggage, no groceries. And could I take a cab to AKV in the morning? I think we would have to check in at AKV before going to a park because we will get the dining plan from AKV and would want that for the day. Or could Pop activate that for us?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Bell services is a little different at Pop, where they aren't really set up to bring/remove luggage from your room (however, we've had a few instances where one of the guys will give us a little magic and help us with our bags). I think you'd need to take the luggage to the check room at Pop to be moved to AKV, where AKV bell services would take over from there.

Your other option would be to just take a cab with your luggage to AKV, which to me would be the easiest option.

I think I am going to try to just find a renter who can give me all the points I need. It sounded like a great plan but in reality Im not sure I will enjoy moving either at the beginning OR the end of our stay........ We could certainly just go over and check out the resort one day and that should be sufficient!!!

Every Disney resort will move you to another Disney resort...no exceptions. You can also ask if they will transport you as well. Worst case they will say no. We've been shuttled by Disney a few times.
